Remplacez tous les connecteurs brûlés ou corrodés sur le stator et le régulateur/redresseur
Vérifiez et réparez tout câblage fondu.
Utilisez de la graisse diélectrique haute température sur tous les connecteurs.

Comment distinguer un boîtier CDI avec alimentation AC ou un boîtier CDI avec alimentation DC?
Si les phares s'allument sans que le moteur ne tourne (avec juste la clé allumée), il s'agit d'un système DC. Dans le système AC, l’allumage des phares nécessite que le moteur tourne. Une autre indication est que si le moteur fonctionne uniquement avec une batterie, il est en courant continu. S'il fonctionne sans batterie, il s'agit d'un système AC.

Que fait le régulateur de tension?
Ce régulateur a pour tâche de convertir la tension alternative (AC) générée par l'alternateur en tension continue (DC) 12 V utilisée dans le système électrique du véhicule et de maintenir la tension dans une certaine plage.
Le régulateur de tension est également chargé de garantir que la batterie est chargée et que les ampoules ne grillent pas.

Comment savoir si le régulateur de charge peut être défectueux?
- Les lampes à incandescence grillent tout le temps.
- Les phares deviennent de plus en plus clairs et plus sombres.
- La batterie est constamment vide.
