Replaced new connector with old regulator connector by butt splice connector and heat shrink. Engine has ran 5 hours with new regulator and maintained 14 volts always. $88price is a lot better than OEM price of $256.

Now its putting out 15.4V at full throttle and about 14.9V at low idle. More than enough to keep the battery in top shape.
Perfect. Tachometer stopped working about a year before we replaced the rectifier. Tach works fine now and battery voltage is 13.8 vdc with engine running.
