Works great shorter choke cable

Runs great. Choke cable is a little inches shorter than the original carburetor. I had to adjust throttle cable a little at handle bars and at carb but easy. No problems with it at all

This really worked great

I really thought this product was going to be one of those “ to good to be true” deals . However it fit perfect and worked great. Barely had to adjust the idle. Great fix.

Easy!

Very simple to replace. I noted the number of turns from bottom on my old carburetor set screws and adjust new identically. It’s so cheap it’s not even worth the effort to try and clean an old dirty carburetor. More fuel hose would have been nice

easy to install and was tuned perfectly from the box. Overall this was the perfect carb

Throttle cable issue

In the description of the carburetor, it says that there is absolutely no modifications or additions needed to make this carb fit. However, that is not true. I have a 1999 YZ400F. After taking out the OEM carburetor and installing the new one, the housing for the throttle cables are completely different from the OEM carburetor, resulting on having to buy longer throttle cables. After lots of research and skimming through Yamaha forums, I ended up buying 2005 YZ450F throttle cables as I read that these will do the job just fine.

They work Great.

I looked everywhere for one that fit my bike, Got them in the mail two days after order, and this one does. It’s put together well .
Came double boxed and bubble wrapped, no damage, would buy it again if I ever need too.

Good replacement

Part arrived way faster than I was expecting and being the first carb replacement I've ever done; I'd say it went flawless. This carb fit exactly like it was taking off the old one and everything was solid with the carb.

Beats paying for OEM carburetor

I wasn't about to spend $600 on a Polaris OEM carburetor. Polaris' pricing for parts is ridiculous. So glad there are aftermarket parts available these days otherwise my Polaris Ranger would have been scrapped by now. One complaint I had about this carburetor is that I wasn't able to get the rubber manifold slipped over the throat of the carburetor. I was able to rectify the situation by taking a file and filing the outside diameter of the throat very slightly all the way around and also beveled the edge of the throat so that when I try to push on the rubber manifold it wouldn't hang up on the edge. With a little bit of lubricant and elbow grease persuasion, I was able to fit the manifold over the throat of the carburetor. The other issue although a easier fix, was the top cap. It has a tube that is capped with a rubber plug and although it's not being , the way the cap was installed that tube and plug face the back of the vehicle and interfered with the vent tubing so I remove the four screws rotated it 180° and that was an easy fix.
